Each of my pictures tells a story...I like to think of myself as a visual story teller, creating scenarios of joy, expectation and suspense between my characters. I love to paint more than anything, and the days spent in my studio are some of the happiest and most fulfilling.

 

My favourite medium is oil on canvas. My stories begin as drawings which eventually find their way on to the canvas in charcoal, and then painted in many layers of oil and glaze.

 

My studio is a newly refurbished garage in North Bondi. It was recently called 'shabby chic', which is a delightful and generous way to describe my working space.
