I studied ceramics at the National Art School East Sydney, and completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales, majoring in printmaking.

As an artist I have exhibited as a ceramicist, printmaker and photographer. In 2001 I was featured as the lead ceramicist in the Australian Ceramics and Pottery magazine.

My ceramic pieces are my canvas. As functional objects they serve to invite into the home and to the table. They offer a vibrancy of colour, influenced by the Mediterranean and infused with aspects of the Australian landscape. My pieces are an aesthetic intended to punctuate everyday life with a touch of celebration.

More recently my passion has shifted to curating. As a curator I have a commitment to community. Art has a universal language and a special way of facilitating greater understanding and healing. As such I believe that Art has a unique role to play in the forging of friendships and the weaving of ties between community groups.
